Bokaro: Anish Sengupta, currently serving as Executive Director (Projects) at Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), has been entrusted with the additional charge of Executive Director (Works). The development reflects the plant’s confidence in his leadership and multi-disciplinary expertise.
Sengupta, an engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, also holds an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM), Bhubaneswar. He joined BSL as Executive Director (Projects) in November 2024.
Prior to his posting in Bokaro, Sengupta was associated with Bhilai Steel Plant as Chief General Manager (URM). His extensive experience in core plant operations and project management is expected to bring strategic value to BSL’s ongoing modernization and operational initiatives.
Director In-Charge B.K. Tiwari extended his best wishes to Sengupta for this new responsibility and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute significantly to BSL’s growth.
